Made in collaboration with F.E. Castleberry, these navigator frames have a distinct 1970s aesthetic, characterised via the bold cat-eye frame proportions and double bridge with a raised top brow. The faded yellow lenses which are intended to combat Seasonal Affective Disorder and we consider them as a sibling to our popular ‘rainy day’ blue lenses. They are to be worn in the City, indoors or outdoors, day or night, and so we’ve removed the anti-reflection coating which gives them an incredibly crisp clarity at all times.

Entirely handmade in England in a limited-run production starting with a single sheet of Mazzucchelli acetate
Thick and above-average 8mm front balanced with 4mm temples
Frame front bevelled, sanded, filed, polished and buffed by hand
Clean front with two round pins on each temple
Heat-bumped regular bridge using 70-year-old machine
With a custom vice, the temples are bent by hand with muscle-memory
Subjected to two 16-hour sessions of woodchip barrel tumbling and polishing
Premium German-made hardware, including pins, hinges and charniers
100% UVA & UVB protection lenses from Divel Italia cut specifically to size using state-of-the-art machinery in Englandtst
