Hays Optical
Prescription Lenses
All of our frames are built for a lifetime of wear, and with our optical range we want to ensure that you are more than content with how they look, feel and perform on you. We’ll happily glaze your lenses according to your prescription but this means that they’re then non-refundable. Therefore, please ensure that you read the following steps to understand how it all works.
If you have any questions or queries please don't hesitate to contact us.
How it Works
Step 1.After purchasing your desired frame, it will be delivered to your home with clear lenses for you to try on and get a feel for.
Step 2.Our customer service team will contact you within three days of delivery to enquire whether you’re happy with your chosen frame.
Step 3.We will discuss lens options with you and you’ll need to confirm if you'd like Kirk Originals to glaze your new optical frame. However, if preferable, you can have them glazed at your local optician.
Step 4.If you wish to proceed with us, we will then collect your frame and begin the process of glazing your glasses. Please note that glazed lenses are non-refundable.
Step 5.Once the lenses have been glazed and fitted, Kirk Originals will ship the finished frame back to you ready for a lifetime of use.

Sun Protection
For an additional cost of £88, we can offer prescription sun lenses in four colours; Black, Brown, Grey and Grey/Green, with 15% LTF Crizal Sun UV tint on all prescription lenses.

Screen Protection
We can offer a Prevencia coating (on the non-sun lenses). This is the same price as sapphire, but offers protection from blue-light that’s emitted from your tablet, phone, computer, etc. This has a slight blue tinge but it’s very popular now due to all of the attention surrounding blue-light and its damaging effect it has on your retinol cells and more.
