Created in close collaboration with the inimitable Wei Koh founder and creative energy behind both The Rake and Revolution Media Brands Bandit is a frame that embraces the spirit of Paul Newman’s legendary aviators while reimagining the silhouette with the introduction of a series of contemporary touches. These frames are the first to feature a flexible sports nose piece and anti-slip inserts within the ear tips.

Thick and above-average 8mm front balanced with 4mm contoured temples
Frame front bevelled, sanded, filed, polished and buffed by hand
Two round functional pins on the front and on each temple
Fitted with an integrated flexible silicone nose piece for
anti-slip comfort fit
Flush fitted silicone ear tips for anti-slip grip
With a custom vice, the temples are bent by hand with
muscle-memory

Design Notes
It’s hard to envision a more iconic sunglasses frames in the world of Hollywood icons than the Paul Newman aviator. Starting with this as our baseline Wei Koh and I re-imagined how this frame could be upscaled and made relevant for a guy who enjoys his weekends, travels extensively, and embraces fun as a must have part of his weekly routine. Oh and the name BANDIT?
Well; they are named in honour of Wei’s canine best friend.
